Tehran Water and Wastewater Company Managing Director Mohammad Parvaresh, told the Mehr News Agency that the loan will be used to establish a wastewater treatment plant in western Tehran. Iran Water and Wastewater Engineering Company Managing Director Mehdi Samareh-Hashemi, said in November 2011 that the country received a $50 million loan from the World Bank in late October for implementing wastewater projects in northern cities.
