Elected officials, professors, students, religious leaders, community activists, and people of many faiths viewed the film. A diverse panel of Muslims from Nigeria, Pakistan, Palestine, Iran and the United States answered questions from the audience after the screening.
Inside Islam: What a Billion Muslims Really Think is the latest documentary by Unity Productions Foundation. It provides an eye-opening view of global Muslim opinions on topics like terrorism, democracy, women and the West and is based on the findings of a first-of-its-kind opinion poll of the entire Muslim world. “The film dispels stereotypes of Islam and Muslims and soundly repudiates the clash of civilizations theory,” stated CAIR-Cleveland President Isam Zaiem. “The Gallup Poll research presented in the film shows that America is best served by a foreign policy toward the Muslim world that is grounded in fact and not fear.”
