What you are suggesting would not be considered an `aqîqâh . You would merely be giving away meat in charity. The `aqîqâh is a formal act of worship. It must be performed by sacrificing an animal.
We recommend that you go to a farm or some other suitable place outside of the city to perform the `aqîqâh. It does not have to be carried out at your place of residence.
