Could you describe how the prophets who ruled over people came to power? Could you specifically discuss Moses, David, Solomon, Joseph, and Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon them all)? Did they come to power by organizing politically? If not, then how?

Moses (peace be upon him) lived in Egypt, as did his father and grandfather before him. Certainly, he spoke the language of the Egyptian people. So Was the Torah revealed to him in the Egyptian language, or was it revealed in the language of his forefathers – in other words, the language of Jacob (peace be upon him)?

One day I met a follower of Shi`ism from Iran. I told him that Allah says in the Qur'ân that He is pleased with all the Companions and asked him why he reviles some of them He replied that if Allah had been pleased with them and then after that verse was revealed, some of the Companions started drinking wine and doing bad things, would Allah still be pleased with them? How can I answer him?

I have heard it said that the King of the land of Abyssinia, to whom the Early Muslims were sent, was upon the true message of Jesus (peace be upon him). Was it only the King who was upon the true message of Jesus (peace be upon him) or were the majority of the people under his rule upon those teachings?

Is it true that the Prophet (peace be upon him) used to call `A'isha by the nickname al-Humayrâ'? I have heard that all the hadith which mention al-Humarâ' are weak. Please clarify this matter for me. Also, if that really was her nickname, then what does it mean?

ome Shî`ah are arguing that Fâtimah, the daughter of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was infallible. They cite the hadîth where the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: “Fâtimah is part of me, and whoever angers her has angered me.” They argue that since her anger is from the Prophet’s anger and the Prophet’s anger is from Allah’s anger, therefore Fâtimah’s anger could never be false. This shows that she was infallible. How can I reply to this argument?

Could you please relate the hadith about Hafsah calling Safiyyah the daughter of a Jew, and the Prophet showing that her lineage is an honor. Is it authentic? I like this account, because some people claim that Islam dislikes Jews as people – on a racial level. This proves that Islam has nothing against Jews as a people.
